- 1 ithisipuni i-turmeric

- 1 ithisipuni ye-coriander powder,
- 1 ithisipuni i-cumin powder,
- 1/2 ithisipuni garam masala,
- usawoti ukunambitha
- 2 wezipuni oqoshiwe amaqabunga e-coriander amasha.
Nge-tomato sauce:
- 2 wezipuni zamafutha yemifino,
- 1 u-anyanisi omkhulu, oqoshiwe
- 2-3 clove garlic, oqoshiwe
- i-ginger encane (2-2,5 cm), eqoshiwe,
- 2 utamatisi omkhulu, ohlanzekile
- 1/2 inkomishi iyogathi, eshaywa
- 1 ithisipuni i-turmeric
- 1 ithisipuni red chili pepper (lungisa ukunambitha)
- 1 ithisipuni i-cumin powder,
- 1 ithisipuni ye-coriander powder,
- 1/2 ithisipuni garam masala,
- usawoti ukunambitha
- 1 ingilazi yamanzi
- amaqabunga e-cilantro amasha okuhlobisa.
Imiyalo yokusetshenziswa
Ake siqale ngokulungiselela ukugcwaliswa kwamazambane. Sika amazambane abilisiwe futhi ahlutshiwe abe ngama-cubes amancane. Epanini elikhulu, ukushisa amafutha wezipuni ezi-2 phezu kokushisa okuphakathi. Engeza imbewu ye-cumin ne-asafoetida (i-hing) futhi uzivumele zicwiliswe imizuzwana embalwa. Fafaza amaqabunga e-coriander amasha aqoshiwe phezu kwamazambane, ugovuze futhi ubeke eceleni.
Manje ake silungise isoso sikatamatisi. Epanini elihlukile, ukushisa amafutha wezipuni ezi-2 phezu komlilo ophakathi. Engeza u-anyanisi oqoshiwe futhi gazinga kuze kube yilapho ushintshashintsha. Engeza u-garlic ogayiwe kanye ne-ginger bese upheka eminye imizuzu emi-2 kuze kunciphe iphunga elimnandi. Thela i-tomato puree bese upheka imizuzu engu-5-7 kuze kube yilapho amafutha eqala ukuhlukana notamatisi. Engeza i-turmeric powder, upelepele obomvu, i-cumin powder, i-coriander powder, i-garam masala nosawoti. Hlanganisa kahle bese upheka eminye imizuzu embalwa. Nciphisa ukushisa kube phansi bese wengeza iyogathi ephehliwe kungxube yetamatisi. Govuza njalo ukuze uvimbele ukugoba. Kancane kancane engeza amanzi, ugovuze ukuze ufinyelele ukuvumelana kwe-sauce oyifunayo. Uma i-gravy ishubile, engeza ukugcwaliswa kwamazambane okulungiselelwe ku-tomato gravy. Hlanganisa ngobumnene ukugqoka amazambane nge-sauce.
